    Steven's eyes crack open despite the thrumming headache. He looks and feels a tremor of panic at the sight of red-roofed houses and snow-capped mountains in the far distance. This doesn't look like Egypt.

    The déjà vu hits him like a freight train.

    No, no, no. What is he doing back here?

    “No. Oh no. Where, how—what?”
    Go back to sleep, worm.

    After falling into the sands of Duat, Steven is sent back in time to fix things. He may or may not end up fixing the wrong, but no less important, things.

    Moon Knight is my new therapy. This story takes the cake. An exhausting ride involving time travel and abandonment trauma, very heavy emotions, dealing with self-esteem issues (I feel like Steven and Marc both have serious problems on that front), and (hopefully) a turnabout of facing difficult truths and accepting hard facts (and feelings for each other?? Hmmm???).

    Currently incomplete; still would recommend the read. Just be prepared for the toll.

    Yup, it is official. Been rereading parts of this story whenever my eyes are tired of glaring at practice exams. Rediscovered love for DP and this FANTASTIC pairing just made the favs list. May be tempting me to dig out my decade old story from my fanfic binder...if I can locate it...

    Love the narration, pacing, character development...I can ALREADY feel upcoming angst (hopefully not too much eeek) just waiting to happen. Definitely worth the read. I would say best pitch pearl story I have been able to locate during my 2ish week return to the fandom.

    So...I am definitely not an A/B/O fan (in general), but this fic got me. Also ruined me for any 'Reki is an omega' fics, because now I can only see him as a beta. Def a good starting point for this fandom. <3

    BEWARE THIS IS A ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONS. But this is pretty standard with most of the shit I read, so no surprise there. Worth the ride. Hoping to get off in one piece. Might be a bit broken by the end. TBD

    You know when you do that thing when you read an entire story in one sitting when you're supposed to be studying and you are like "crap I should save this but maybe I just read it all instead??"

    One of my original favorite pairings that I have come back to. Love this story. Definitely recommend. Squishy drama to fluff to angst and eventual resolve all in one. <3 <3
