Summary
Amidst the whims of fate, many a tale are writ, appended by soul and heart. Ordinarily, so, there would be only a sliver of truth to them, a snake cannot whisper trickery, but your fellow man shall take that mantel. Such is the way of tales, deceitful stories where words of warning are sugared and sweetened to swallow. But what of a world where they are living and breathing?
An au of CRK inspired by the 18th century with a world based around fairy tales, folklore and more, where every character has some level of story attached to them. While mainly ShadowVanilla focused, there are many other characters and relationships independent of their own journey to follow.

While the king's servants cheer for a future their curse may be lifted, things are never as clear and cut as they might seem.

Summary
Disgraced former child star and current struggling street musician Xie Lian sends off an audition tape to a new movie on a wild impulse, and then runs into an interesting man while he's performing. And again that evening, and again the next day. When he's asked to travel to Atlantic City for a table read for the movie, his new friend, Hua Cheng, offers to drive him, and he proceeds to run into a number of old acquaintances (many of whom he didn't realize still considered him a friend), learn a few heart-breaking secrets, and fall absolutely catastrophically in love with a man he's pretty sure is already taken.

Summary

When Jun Wu suddenly makes an appearance, Xie Lian is surprised by the bad memories that rise to the surface. He can't sleep or eat, and Hua Cheng is in the capital preparing for an art show. Slowly, the grief consumes him.
Or: Xie Lian doesn't take care of himself and gets really sick. Hua Cheng is there to take care of him.
