Summary
Yuta knew Maki couldn't bring herself to say she loved him but that was okay, he'd become an expert at interpreting her secret language. Now, he was stuck wondering how much longer he could keep his own less-than-desirable thoughts at bay.
Maki liked him soft and compliant, and Yuta was more than happy to be just that. He could die a happy man, being used as her personal fuck toy.
So he didn't know how Maki would handle it if his sick urges began to seep out. He didn't know if she'd like this side of him.

DISCONTINUED FOR THE TIME BEING OKAY (I didn't plan this out so I'm scraping the whole thing and writing a new version!)
Her grandmother believed that birthmarks were imprints of the soul, a manifestation of the mistakes from a life prior, ‘It’s a reminder and a warning, Utahime. Never let your guard down’ her grandmother warned her voice grave with worry whilst humming a haunting tune. Her grandmother had long left this Earth, but still, the sadness in her voice echoes in Utahime’s thoughts every now and then.
It appears to be more deafening today.
‘But it can also bring two people destined to be together, in this life and the next.’ Utahime’s mother would quickly pipe in, her voice rising an octave higher whilst throwing her grandmother a discreet glare, gently tugging on Utahime’s hand beckoning her to stay at her mother’s side as if that will save Utahime from her fate. Her mother’s reassuring words fell into deaf ears, ‘What you have is a soul mark, it ties you to the one you will love for the rest of your life.’
Utahime compared it to cattle branded for slaughter.
