Summary
In the relentless whirl of deadlines and life turmoil, Kaveh finds himself sleepless and on the brink of crashing out. The project he’d been working on for hours is completely derailed from what the professor asked them to do, but that’s just one of the many things that he has to worry about. To sate his crisis, Kaveh turns to alcohol for comfort. One drink too many later, and Kaveh finds himself in the apartment of a hot stranger.
Or where Kaveh gets absolutely drunk and wakes up in Ahaitham’s bed.

Summary
"I'm a haunted house," Kaveh declares like it's nothing less than a fact of life, and gestures at himself as if to show Alhaitham exactly where the phantoms are hiding. "I'm a relic of the past and the only reason people flock to me is to marvel at how cleverly I've hidden the signs of a haunting. They look at me and they don't see the ghosts in my rafters, the loose hinges of my doors, and the bones tucked under my bed. They see a haunted house that has repainted itself to parade as something worth living in."
(Or, Kaveh may consider himself a haunted house, but Alhaitham knows that Kaveh has the ability to build and rebuild himself as many houses as he wishes, and the scribe would turn them all into a home.)

Summary
“Your earrings.”
He had been so caught up in his chastising that he missed Alhaitham’s attention slip.
“Oh. That’s right. A new jewellery stall set up today in the Grand Bazaar, and they gave discounts to the first few customers. The designs were so unique, I couldn’t just walk away without a closer look… What do you think?”
He was sure that Alhaitham had likely only spoken to avoid a lecture, but this could be easily looked past. His unthinking question had been asked to invite further curiosity. What did Alhaitham think of his aesthetic choices? Yet, in the fleeting jab of a moment, he saw through it entirely into the heart. He saw how Alhaitham watched him, considered him, the gaze brushing his ear, his neck.
If he kissed Alhaitham, Alhaitham would reciprocate.
Well, of course. That was only natural. The sear of this discovery ebbed as if it hadn’t been at all; Alhaitham was raising his eyes, was parting his mouth to speak, and all else fell away.
(Absorbed in his and Alhaitham’s unthinking intimacy, Kaveh initiates kisses between them without consideration of the consequences. Also, Kaveh finds out everyone thinks they’re married and deals with it Normally.)

Summary
Alhaitham has a vast array of knowledge: everybody knows that. How else would he keep his position as the Akademiya’s Scribe? He even served as Acting Grand Sage for a short period of time! One would think that this bright young man was the jack of all trades.
What many people don’t know is that the feeble scholar isn’t very well versed when it comes to human emotions. Which tends to lead to situations such as the one he found himself in.
Or: the five times Alhaitham attempted to confess to Kaveh and the one time Kaveh did the job for him.
