Summary
Nancy, Mike and Holly are siblings...but lately, they have only been siblings in concept, not practice.
Holly is tired of being left out of their top secret business. Hey, she might be eight, but she still has feelings! It's not until Holly's world turns upside down with the mysterious earthquake and later with Mike's disappearance does things change with her bonds with her siblings.
Mike can't seem to find the right words for anything, be it Will, El, Nancy or Holly. Shamefully, he hadn't considered how his decision to keep the Upside-Down a secret from Holly and the rest of his family (and to make Nancy keep that secret) would be a terrible one until he gets taken as bait by Vecna. Now, it may be too late to fix any of his relationships.
Nancy is tired. Tired of fighting for her life, tired of both boys fighting over her. Robin is a breath of fresh air from all that. Now if she can only figure out how she feels about Robin, or how to take care of Holly now that she knows what they have kept secret from her all these years. Now with her brother missing, she feels pulled taut in all directions.

Hi everyone, this is my first fic ever <3
I'm posting this for @mcytphysicaldisabilityweek Day 2: Deafness/Hard of Hearing, and as someone who is profoundly deaf in both ears (I wear a cochlear implant), I was inspired to write this, a lot of which is based on my personal experiences! While I am pretty positive about being deaf (hey, its a fun fact I get to share at icebreakers haha), I wanted to write more about what it's like being deaf without having grown up with ASL (which happens more often than you think, about 90% of deaf kids are born to Hearing families) and that comes with some communication downsides.
I am not a 100% about the characterization, but I wanted to submit this before the day is over. I was also inspired by this wonderful fandom, you guys are all so sweet <3
I am hoping to write a followup/parallel fic for FitMC about being deaf as an adult, anyways, hope you enjoy <3

through the looking glass
one of my favourite tbp and perhaps even all time favourite, it is so visceral in terms of how difficult to recover from abuse and how difficult it can be to confront that and choose to live <3
Also features a great dive into how Robin handles his trauma and such an interesting mechanic that continues the theme of this movie. It hurts but it’s so good!!

the weirdest days of finney’s life
excellent study of how truama and PTSD affects the ghost boys from an outsider’s POV (aka Finney who doesn’t remember what happened). This time travel fic had such a unique approach to it that it kept me enthralled and read it in one sitting. Surprisingly wholesome in parts but also so angsty, this was really chefs kiss <3

One of my favourite fics, love how it deals with PTSD (bc they all remember and deal with it in different ways) and how they try to recover from something that they can’t actually talk to any professionals/adults about. Really well written, creative and I would love to see what happens next, but please take all the time you need on this masterpiece <3
