Summary
It is summer 1985, which means sunny days outside and having fun with your friends and girlfriend. Or so, that's what Mike Wheeler thinks. When Billy Hargrove gets flayed by the powerful entity known as The Mind Flayer, The Party must put their fun (and their fighting) aside in order to stop him. This leads them to discover that Hawkins, Indiana is being ruled by forces darker than just the Upside Down. Narrated by multiple POVs, Oathbreaker, Oathkeeper is a collaborative passion project between two writers, Oathbreaker is a partial re-write of the global hit Stranger Things. Set between season 3 and onwards, we explore an alternative sequence of events based on Dungeons and Dragons lore plus its technicalities, and the Stranger Things canon.

"He settles Max down on a couch and they chat about the small things while Dustin takes a shower, and then take turns teasing him when he gets back. If their voices keep breaking on the punch lines of jokes, wobbling anxiously, then no one else mentions it. If Lucas is squeezing Max’s hand too hard, because she can squeeze back now, then she doesn’t complain. If their eyes keep flickering over to El for reassurance that she’s still there, hasn’t left them, then she offers them small smiles every time in return."
Or, Lucas continues protecting everyone else long after the final battle is over.
