Summary

Summary
For the rest of SDC filming, when they're not out of town shooting endorsement ads or doing interviews, they’ll end up in each other’s room at night, exploring their bodies and then collapsing side by side.
But the moment they’re released back into the world, they’ll be pulled to opposite sides of the country—or the globe—with only brief texts and infrequent phone calls and even rarer video calls to rely on. Later, they’ll run into each other at photoshoots and award shows and other events, and be sure not to embrace for too long or say anything that gives them away, with cameras and microphones and paparazzi all around them.
It’ll be agonizing, and they’ll yearn endlessly for each other and those tiny stretches of privacy and intimacy they’re only able to achieve every few weeks.
Or: Yixing and Jackson through the years. No matter how challenging it is to balance their personal lives and the demons that haunt them with the public images they must maintain, they'll never give up on each other.

He sees the subtle shift as Thrawn lowers his guard. He takes one step, another half dozen, and they clasp forearms, their fingers squeezing tightly. Eli leans in, his left arm comes up and around to brace Thrawn's back in the briefest, most professional version of an embrace he can offer: a compromise between Human sentimentality and Chiss stoicism.
