Summary
Even in a world without scenarios, Kim Dokja finds himself alive because of Yoo Joonghyuk. His curiosity about his new classmate turns into something else over time, but he can never build up the confidence to approach the boy.
He remains as a reader, simply looking into his classmate's life, but never becoming a part of it.

Summary
Two weeks after Logan Sargeant is unceremoniously dumped from Williams, Oscar has no idea what he's doing standing in front of his (ex-best?) friend's apartment building holding a tote bag that looks like it got vomited on by every Australian cliche in the book.
He's got next to no plan, and kind of expects the door to get shut in his face immediately, but he's got nerve. He's going to say his piece no matter what, because he's not letting this just...happen.
(And if there's an itch in the back of his mind that tells him to hold just a little tighter to the hope, the dream of racing side-by-side, he will firmly ignore it before flying into the barriers.)

Or, Oscar and Logan swap helmets because what else can you do when you run out of time with the person you never thought you'd be racing without?

Another voice responds, accent less harsh, tone terribly familiar, “We are in a surf shop in Inverloch. That is not Logan Sargeant.”

Summary
If he could race again, he’d do it in a heartbeat. To shove a helmet on, strap himself in again. Sometimes, it’s all he can think about, getting back in it.
Then he remembers how it felt to lose it all.
Racing was everything. All his friends, all his love. The lines got blurred when he was still in it. He cared too much. Things went too fast, on the track, off the track. It was too much and not enough and he kept fucking reaching for more without checking if he was able to hold it.
Or, how Logan poorly, then not so poorly, deals with his life after leaving the world of F1.

Summary
The girl turns to Oscar and gives him a hug. All the while Logan is left to stand there, arm extended to return the phone with sweaty palms, praying for the interaction to end. A twing in his heart echos in the emptiness of it.

And then Oscar wins his first ever Formula 1 Grand Prix, leaving Logan behind in the dusts of P19.
He finds himself mourning as he stands with shaking legs and looks over at his best friend hugging his team.
