Crosshair and Wrecker are supposed to be on watch, and they are, technically -- they just got a little distracted.
“Whoa.” Wrecker’s brown eyes sparkled brighter than the fireflies as he watched three of the little bugs flicker from one place to another.
Balancing a toothpick between his teeth, Crosshair stole a look at his brother out of the corner of his eye and smiled faintly. Technically, the two of them were supposed to be on watch, but Hunter hadn’t told them that they couldn’t lie down in the grass to see the weird little creatures that blinked on and off when you least expected them to.
Besides, what was the need for a night watch when Hunter would hear, smell, or sense an intruder long before they posed a threat?

Shep gets worried after he hasn't seen the Batchers for nearly an entire day, and goes to investigate. He unintentionally intrudes upon a memorial service and learns of yet another loss the clone soldiers suffered during the days of the War.
Shep tried to keep his features schooled, but inside he was getting even more confused by the moment. "Ninety-Nine?" he repeated, wondering if he had heard the name correctly.
"Yeah. He was the first defective the longnecks allowed to decant, so the other cadets just called him by his number." Hunter watched the whiskey glimmer through the sunlit glass. "You know, he always made sure every other clone had a name, but in the end, he never gave himself one."

Summary
Obi-Wan Kenobi is a Jedi Master, and a powerful one at that. Having been born into a galaxy teetering on the brink of self-destruction, he's led an unwillingly interesting life, but first and foremost he has always been a Jedi. He has always been a protector, a keeper of the light that remains in the galaxy, no matter what personal cost that might force him to incur.
Commander Cody, once known only as CC-2224, has had an even farther-from-normal existence, beginning with his creation in a Kaminoan lab for the sole purpose of fighting for others, born to die on a distant world for people who don't even consider him wholly a person. He is a soldier, a defender, a weapon and an older brother, his every facet polished to sharp point meant to protect someone else.
What happens when they both end up leading of one of the most elite legions of the GAR, reliant on each other for not only their own survival, but that of their soldiers and the civilians who have been caught up in the conflict? Will each retreat farther back into their attempts at self-sufficient isolation or will they learn to lean on each other for support?

Summary
A warning in the Force sparked into Qui-Gon’s mind, and he spun just in time to see the man take a sudden swing at Obi-Wan. His Padawan, caught at unawares, failed to dodge the blow. The man’s fist collided with the side of Obi-Wan’s head and the teen staggered off the edge of the ramp. Qui-Gon felt Obi-Wan’s Force signature fade as his Padawan lost consciousness. The Jedi Master instantly dropped the box his was carrying, cast aside his cloak, and sprinted down the ramp. He shoved the man out of his way and leapt off the side of the ramp after Obi-Wan.
A mission to deliver supplies to a hurricane-stricken planet goes a little awry, and Obi-Wan is injured, leaving Qui-Gon to care for a concussed Padawan as well as manage an increasingly desperate crowd of local villagers. But when Obi-Wan begins showing signs of a serious illness, the situation becomes rather more complicated.

Summary
Shortly after Xanatos' fall, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn is summoned to the Council and tasked with retrieving the bodies of some of their own. The mission is one that haunts him for the several years to come, although he is unable to understand why no matter how much he meditates on it.
Until almost ten years later, Qui-Gon finds it staring him in the face.
Even without the Force practically screaming at him, Qui-Gon knows that only he can make things right.

Ben knows three things:
1. His Master wants him to be good. To be good, Ben needs to follow his rules.
2. His Master's rules are to keep him safe and to make him a better student. Which means Ben needs to stop breaking them-- accidently or not.
3. The man with the green lightsaber is not his Master. Ben cannot trust him.The man does not make it easy to remember those three things.

That did not mean he would be left alone, though.
The High Council was asking a lot of him, but whatever was taken would be given back. Obi-Wan was an esteemed and valued colleague, and they would protect him as much as they could.
For his part, seventeen-year-old Obi-Wan was a lost young man who was perplexed by all the attention he was receiving. He felt lonely no matter how many people he had around. He missed Qui-Gon.
