Summary
After the ending of 16, everyone is transmigrated to Eorzea instead for reasons! Clive finds someone new to turn his hero worship on, and Cid is alive again also for reasons! When they meet up again, they're still a pair of big idiots for each other. Everything's going great in Eorzea at the moment, and the star already has its hero role fulfilled, so what else is there to do but for these two dumbasses to go on low-stakes adventures together?

Summary
Cid had said that they should be allowed to choose how to die. Clive had done that, choosing death to right the world around him. Now, dying on the sands of Valisthea, staring up at Metia, he had chosen the path Cid had put down. How to die, but others would now be able to choose Clive's path, choosing how to live. The Eikons, feeling that the death of Magic is at hand, know that in Clive's heart, there is the courage to do more, a wish to make things better for all, Humans and Eikons. As Joshua and Dion return to his side, to be there in his final moments, he's given a choice, let the curse take him, or choose his own path, to live. To go back and do it again, and maybe save a few lives in the process.
