Summary
Stars glow ethereally in the night sky. He feels like a character in one of those cozy games made for the Nintendo Switch.
“Can we pull over?” Jeremy asks, overcome with a brief burst of determination. “I want to look at the stars.”
Michael laughs softly at that. “Really?”
Jeremy’s face goes warm. “Yeah, dude. It’s pretty.”
-
Or: While on a road trip to nowhere, Jeremy and Michael finally talk about the events of their junior year.

Summary
Jeremy makes a weird mouth noise—something akin to an airhorn, but quieter—and Christine reciprocates, making her own weird mouth noise. They both giggle for a moment, before Jeremy takes in a deep breath.
“I’m still Jeremy,” she says, well aware of the fact that she’s not making much sense. Christine seems to share that sentiment, if the confused furrow of her eyebrows and tilt of her head are any indication. Christine nods, urging her to continue. “I’m just- how do I put this? I’m a girl, I guess? Well, not ‘I guess.’ I’m a girl."

Transfem Jeremy learns that maybe her transness isn't the end of the world.

Summary
“Can I be honest for a second?”
Jeremy’s blood goes cold. Michael is going to tell Jeremy he’s faking. Or worse, that he’s mocking autistic people by suggesting he could be autistic. Or somehow even worse than that: he’s going to break up with him.
“Sure,” Jeremy says. Anxiety turns his face red, and his palms feel clammy. He taps his fingers against the bathroom floor as a more subtle variation on hand-waving.
“I’m autistic too,” Michael admits.
-
OR: Jeremy learns to love himself while discovering that he and his partners, Michael and Christine, are all autistic.

Summary
Crowley backs up for a moment, admiring the sight in front of her. Aziraphale’s face is a light shade of pink, clearly still getting used to being adored in this way. She’s looking rather impatient now—good, that’s just how Crowley likes her.
“Beg,” Crowley teases.
“Pardon?” Aziraphale’s eyes widen slightly.
“Beg me to touch you.”

Summary
Life is but a stage to Mari, because that's all she has known for the past six years of her time upon the earth.
But today is not for the stage. Today is something different, and the cruel irony of being stripped of her façade leaves her spiralling into the question she's forced to the back of her mind for years.
Is she happy?

Summary
But, wearing his glasses did have a few benefits. He could actually see the world around him a little better. He could read the labels on the food in the fridge without holding it right up to his face, he could read emails on his computer without enlarging the font a bunch, and he could notice a fuck ton of other details that otherwise would’ve flown completely under the radar for him.
Or, in the case of his inspection of Paul, he could notice the very obvious red lipstick stains around Paul’s lips, no doubt leftover residue from his barista girlfriend during his coffee run earlier.

Ted’s coworkers at CCRP, more than anything, stood as a reminder for him, as a warning to keep him in line whenever he considered letting down the mask that he had put up.
Whenever he was him, people didn’t like him.

Summary
“Richie, I’m not transphobic,” Max said, as if the very idea disgusted him.
“Yes, you are.” If you had told Richie that he and Max were going to fight in the locker rooms, this would’ve been at about the bottom of his list as for topics. “You’re always talking about me, bullying me–”
“Well, yeah, ‘cause you’re a fucking loser,” Max interjected.
(or, the one where richie confronts max for being transphobic towards him for years, and max is offended at the implication)
