It wasn’t the first time someone had muttered that to him; but coming from the one person who saw good and love in everyone else; it hurt more than anything ever had.Lots of pining and obsessed Lex Luthor, slow burn and one sided for a while. Lex doesn’t know how to express his emotions correctly.

“Who Ultraman really is doesn’t matter,” Lex intercepts, watching as all eyes fall to him and then Ultraman and then back all at once. “You were all invited here for one reason and that’s to rid Earth of its alien invaders—“ Eyeing the gap between them, the meagre distance. “Cape or no cape, that too is Ultraman’s soul objective. Anything else remains utterly irrelevant.”
And maybe those words would’ve meant more if Lex wasn’t currently squeezing the life from his swollen sex.
AKA A clone is still a clone, no matter how you dress it. Lex wrestles with that fact.

The picture changed again, and Pepper gasped sharply.
Tony Stark lay flat on his back.
The billionaire subsequently breathed in and blinked awake in a half startled grunt. Pepper and Happy watched in frozen shock as Tony watched the ceiling a moment before turning his head to the side. Then his head went back again, and he closed his eyes with a groan. The camera trailed over to the source of Tony’s displeasure. There at his side, still unconscious, was Captain Steve Rogers.
Or rather:
Several months after Civil War, a new threat presents itself, in which Tony, Steve, Peter, Sam, Wanda, Clint, Natasha, Bruce and Bucky are captured and thrown together on an Island that had been manufactured by Hydra. Trapped, The Avengers have no other choice but to rely on both their wits and one another as they brave the elements, face off against new foes eager to make a name for themselves, and of course, try and make their way home alive.
(So far, the only thing they can agree on is keeping spider kid from dying, which is a pretty low bar, but it’s a start.)
Oh, and they have no idea that their every move is being filmed and broadcasted live on national television.

“Yes, sir,” the CO says, annoyingly hesitant, “I-I mean, he looks a little different in this one, sure –”
“A little?” Lex snaps, then taps a knuckle at the paper on the desk. “Are you fucking blind?”
The CO rolls her lips between her teeth.
Lex growls under his breath and minimizes the browser, bringing up the first social media site that comes up on autocomplete. He searches Clark Kent, taps on the ‘Reporter :)’ result and scowls when he sees it gets updated about once a millennium. It is, also, that same face from the press conference, not the one in the paper. He scrolls, and scrolls, and–
Wait. That’s what it is – it’s all videos. He doesn’t see a single still photo in the lot.

Batman was annoyed. He was pretty sure No Metahumans In Gotham was canon, but he'd never actually read a comic book so he couldn't prove it. All his information came from TikToks and tumblr posts. Was it possible he'd beaten a woman to a pulp based on poorly thought-out headcanons? Luckily, he had a fallback. "I'm the richest man in Gotham and that means it's my city and I decide how it operates."

In his waking horror, he realized as he ruined the very pajamas still crumpled from his grip, he wanted to be dominated by Superman. The very thought made him sick to his stomach, repulsed by his own subconscious and so thoroughly turned on it made his back arch involuntarily. So much power wasted on stomach-churning kindness, the capabilities of a god borne to a man that dressed in primary colors with his underwear on the outside of his leotard.
Months of incidents. Excuses to get close, be pinned or shoved or even once stiff-armed. And to the sticky, molten delight in the pit of Lex’s stomach it started to work.
And Clark? He’s not sure if he should feel guilty over just how little guilt he feels. Lex wants something from him. He wants something from Lex. Does the arrangement still work when the asking price raises?
