Ilya zoomed into Hollander's chest, at the shirt under his blazer, a shirt that was slightly too big on him. Not like the overly fitted things he would normally wear. Then, on the collar, Ilya noticed the subtle logo design of a company he bought from frequently. That was his fucking shirt - he knew it.As annoyed as he was at being sent more reminders about Hollander and Rose, it gave him a little bit of pleasure to know Hollander was walking around in something that he definitely knew was Ilya's - he is the most meticulous man Ilya knows, after all - and knew he thought he could get away with it without anyone knowing who it actually belonged to.
Not to him. To him, Hollander is and always has been a terrible liar.
aka: Shane wears one of Ilya's shirts out when he's with Rose after their breakup. Ilya breaks the silence to share his thoughts with Shane about that. (ft. a healthy dose of yearning.)

oh. my. god.
this book has been an absolute journey to say the least! I started it in august of 2021 and closed off the final chapter today. My, my, has it been worth it. As i've gone through the journey of our favourite cannibals my life has changed quite a bit, so it feels a little weird to finish it.
genuinely one of the best written pieces ive seen. there wasn't a moment i was bored or hoping for the scene to change.
now to try and cope <3

Finished. So so good, amazing story and great representation of mental health and the difficulties they bring. The overcoming of it wasn't rushed in the slightest and the troubles that came with it were realistic. Really did their research.
For the newtmas. Holy shit. It was amazing to read and see the relationship together over the many many chapters. The breakout especially. So cute and like an action movie. Seeing everyone, even Chuck and Minho (and Teresa and Alby) get their happy endings was such a bittersweet end to the story.
