Summary
“Uhh…” Izuku was embarrassed, but was interrupted by the young panicking mother trying to explain her son’s quirk before he could ask any questions. “It’s called Cold Love. It freezes you from the inside. He can’t control it, yet. So, we can’t lift it. I’m so sorry! Only body heat of others helps keep the cold at bay.“ She started to rub her hands over his back. „It’s basically a hugging quirk.”
On his way back to UA Izuku is involved in a quirk accident and needs to cuddle people to not to freeze to death. Who better than Kacchan to help him in his predicament?

Summary
“You,” Ed starts to interrupt him, then stops, clearing his throat. His voice is almost— gritting, cracking in the middle. When he starts again, he’s stronger, but still— shaky. “You made me this? I mean— You made this? For me?”
Stede’s not entirely sure what he means by that, but he has that little bubbling sensation he always gets when Ed is making him happy. It’s this simmering, glowing joy that always rises inside him, like it’s going to blow him up. He’s already smiling.
“I did,” Stede says. Ed sits up properly beside him, and Stede nudges his shoulder, jostles him a bit. “I thought you could use something a little bit soft. Besides me, you know.”
He’s expecting Ed to tease him in response, but instead, he doesn’t speak. He just keeps staring down at the blanket, clutched between his fingers.

Summary
Stede stands on the warm sand at the beach, stripped of his luxurious coat and impractical shoes, his hair pushed off his face from where he'd slicked it back while using seawater to clean away the pigs blood. He breathes deeply and takes a moment to grieve the life he's about to leave behind for good.
Just a moment, and a moment only.
He closes his eyes against the warmth of the setting sun, and inhales the salty spray of water as a wave crashes on the shore; the ocean advancing and receding, beckoning him forward.
Calling him home.

Summary
“What the hell’s happened to you?” Stede demands. It’s his voice, in his body, and he almost seems living, and it’s— It has to be the last thing Ed ever sees. He has to die with him burned on the insides of his eyelids.
Stede’s eyes are tracking over him, rising up to meet his eyes, locking with him. It feels so real. He can’t help the hysterical laugh that comes up and out of him, impossibly grateful for this last delusion.
Without hesitating, he lurches forward, grabbing Stede and yanking him into his arms. Stede makes a confused noise of protest, briefly, but it fades instantly and his arms come up, too, wrapping around Ed without hesitation. He doesn’t smell the same; instead, he’s all salt and sweat and sun, baked into his skin. Ed buries his face in his hair, fingers clawing at the impossibly real feel of him, the hallucination made solid in his arms.
“Thank fuck,” Ed says into his hair, voice breaking. “I didn’t want to die without seeing you one last time.”

Summary
"Hey." Ed reaches across because it's the only thing that feels right. He grasps Stede's wrist and smoothes the pad of his thumb across his knuckles. Stede stops fiddling with his ring and looks up at him, wide-eyed. "This isn't Captain shit. This is God shit. Are you God?"
The room is blank with silence.
Gently, Ed repeats, "Are you God, Stede?"
Stede's voice is thin and high when he answers, "I'm not God."
"And is God here, in this room?"
Comically, Stede looks around like he might find God perched on the edge of his desk, or pulling books from his shelves to examine the spines.
"He's not," Stede concedes.
"That's right, mate. Stupid bugger doesn't associate himself with pirates."
Or: The Revenge has been becalmed for six days. Ed has bigger things to worry about, like sharks and being in love.
