Summary
It’d be good for Buck to have another cat around him. If Bobby’s lucky, Eddie’s mellow temperament would rub off on his crazy orange menace and make him less of a terror.
Of course, that was delusional of him to hope so. If anything, the two were even worse together.
Buck pawing at people’s legs as a distraction while Eddie stole something off their plate. Buck dragging gloves or socks into Bobby’s office like trophies while Eddie followed behind to drop the stolen items into Bobby’s trash can. Napping in the most random places and therefore forcing everyone to check the engine every time just in case they were inside. Following people around and plopping down belly up at their feet like two meowing speed bumps. Knocking random stuff off the shelves.
Just last week, the two had stepped on the PA mic, Buck broadcasting a steady stream of purrs and random meows throughout the entire firehouse until Hen found Eddie serenely perched on the button.
Bobby somehow ended up adopting not one, but two demonic cats.

“You’re saying,” Eddie murmurs, leaning in close till their noses brush and Eddie can count the striations of different blues in Buck’s eyes. “That you want to stud me, and for me to bitch you?” Eddie hears Buck gulp, a gargled little gguh sounds coming out of his mouth. It takes a moment, but Buck nods.
“Y-eah,” Buck whispers, sounding completely unconvincing. “Yeah, yeah, I do.”

“Oh, we’d need several psychologists to unpack that,” said Hen. “Maybe an anthropologist, too.”
Next to her, Ravi grimaced and explained, “I said something stupid earlier, and now Buck has been flirting with Eddie all day, to drive us insane.”
