“Oh, there’s no need for any kind of training regimen for this movie,” Obi-Wan said haughtily—and only a little bit flirtatiously, considering an irrepressible part of his subconscious was currently howling and whistling like a wolf from a Tex Avery cartoon, something that was totally irrelevant to the case at hand. “I don’t care about selling dietary supplements, or fitness equipment, or protein bars with my movies, I just want actors. Real ones. As they come.”

Anakin’s bemused grin just spread wider, something that Obi-Wan steadfastly ignored—along with the pretty, pearly shine of his teeth, not a hint of a veneer visible, thank god. Not that it mattered to him! With great, faux reverence, the mouthy little prick with the Paul Newman smile said—in that sweet, lilting voice—“I can come however you want, Mr. Kenobi.”

OR: Arthouse film legend Obi-Wan Kenobi lives to make movies, even as his career has somewhat cooled in recent years. He doesn’t care about commerce, only cinema! He’s made his name as a polarizing filmmaker in defiance of everything commercial Hollywood cinema represents. So why would he even consider casting Anakin Skywalker, the young face of a major studio franchise, in his next picture?

    Summary

Due to an administrative error, Obi-Wan is deployed on a mission that Anakin's been undercover on for the last month and a half. Which would be fine with Anakin if their solo-mission styles weren't totally, radically different from each other.

See, Anakin adopts a cover, goes to ground, and works the case through a series of subtle investigative procedures designed to not arouse suspicion from the local population.

Obi-Wan, apparently, swans into the nearest cantina and flirts his way into his suspect's bed through a process of indulgent trial and error.

Which would be fine with Anakin if he didn't have to watch it. And if it were some other Jedi flirting with a criminal sleemo and not his master. Oh, and if Anakin and Obi-Wan hadn't accidentally gotten too drunk and slept together six months ago and never talked about it again.

    Then it would be fine.

    Summary

Obi-Wan does not have a case of the flower disease.

But he does love Anakin far more than appropriate—far more than he ever intended to. It is a mockery of the Jedi Code, of the Order itself, the fervor for which Obi-Wan Kenobi loves Anakin Skywalker.

It is also a secret that he would quite happily take to the grave, should it come to it.

When he wakes in the middle of the night, chest spasming from a coughing fit, and looks down into his lap to find his sheets strewn with flowers and spots of blood, he thinks that perhaps it has.

    Summary

Soul transference, or the act of one's consciousness traveling along a Force bond and switching places with its partner, isn't unheard of among the Jedi. But it does take an unshakably, unspeakably strong training bond for such transference to occur--and so the master-padawan pairs that admit to the experience are separated for their own good, to try and correct the beginnings of dangerous attachment.

The first time Obi-Wan had blinked and opened his eyes in Anakin's body, his padawan had been all of ten years old. They'd both lost too much to lose each other, and so they'd stayed quiet about the experience. And the next one. And the one after that.

So it's not terribly shocking that the soul transference has happened once more in the wake of the Battle of Geonosis.

What is rather shocking is that when Obi-Wan opens his--Anakin's--eyes, Padmé Amidala is standing before him--Anakin. Dressed in white lace, holding his--Anakin's--hands.

    Saying her wedding vows.

    Summary

Senior padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi has loved his best friend's Jedi master for years. That's not an excuse for what happens next, but it's the truth. He has loved Anakin Skywalker in some form or fashion since he was a youngling.

When Ahsoka gets too drunk on a night out after the end of the war and Obi-Wan is tasked with seeing her safely home and to her bed, things turn heated and charged between Master Skywalker and Obi-Wan. It's a bad idea from the very beginning. There's no way Master Skywalker will be able to give him what he really wants, because there's no way in the entire galaxy that Master Skywalker loves him the way Obi-Wan has loved Master Skywalker.

If he did, he would have chosen him as his padawan.

Not that Obi-Wan still thinks about that.
