Summary
Shane swallows thickly, and digs out the boxers in question. They’re buried under his other sweaty clothes, but he can smell it the second he’s got them out. It’s not strong, but it’s definitely there with nothing else in the room but stale hotel air. Soft, faintly sweet, floral. Undoubtedly Omega.
“Fuck,” he murmurs.
Honestly, he doesn’t know what his scent is. He immediately masked it with suppressants and scent neutralizers. But it has to be his. Well, duh. Who the fuck else would it be?
With a pit forming in his stomach, he turns them inside out. There, right over the crotch, is a small, wet spot.
Slick.
“Shit.”
That isn’t good. That isn’t good at all.Shane knows his suppressants are failing. After choking down pills and dousing himself in scent neutralizer for nearly a decade, they're starting to give up. He's got to do something about it, and ends up finding a solution that changes everything.

Summary
Ilya packed the box nicely– deep blue tissue paper hides whatever’s inside. But a small piece of white paper, folded in half, sticks out from one of the pieces of tissue paper.
Shane plucks it out, and unfolds it.
I know you miss me
written in Ilya’s familiar, messy handwriting.
Shane exhales a laugh through his nose as the corners of his mouth lift. He does miss Ilya.
He sets the note off to the side, and pushes aside the tissue paper. He sighs heavily, disappointed in himself that he recognizes what’s inside immediately.

“You ever been tied up?” Ilya asks.
Shane shakes his head.
“Do you trust me?”
“Of course.” Shane responds without hesitation.
“Good.” Ilya smirks. He sets the ties down, then tucks his fingers under the hem of Shane’s shirt. Instinctually, he raises his arms and lets Ilya pull it off him. Ilya tosses it somewhere on the floor, and picks one of the ties back up.
“Will you be a good boy for me?”
Shane nods.Even though coming out to Shane’s parents went about as smooth as it could’ve, Shane still feels keyed up after they get home. Ilya takes him out of his head.

Steve laughs. “You see me skate all the time.”
“Yeah, but there's always others on the ice. Now I just get to watch you,” Eddie says with a grin.
He slides down the bench to press himself right up against Steve, leaving no space between them. It jostles Steve, making him laugh again. Eddie laughs too, leaning in even further to nip at the curve of Steve's jaw.
“Ok, calm down loverboy!” Steve jokes.
“Me, calm down? Never.” Eddie replies. “But loverboy? Always.”Sometimes, Steve gets antsy in the off-season. The downtime can be rough after months of hard, nonstop work, and he occasionally goes to the team’s practice facility just to get the energy out. Eddie comes along this time around to keep him company.

Summary
Steve remembers how excited Eddie was when they found a willing surrogate. How his joy felt like it lit up the whole universe, because they were finally going to start their family. Then he remembers how Eddie had crashed into the delivery room, hopping on the first available flight to make sure he made it. He did, by just ten minutes. He was the first to hold their beautiful baby girl. And Steve cut the umbilical cord.
Now… he can’t remember the last time he saw Eddie hold her.
