“Is he?” She didn’t look very convinced.In which Steve has fought feelings for Tony ever since they defeated Loki in New York. Unfortunately, Tony was still with Pepper when the Avengers took a break and everyone went their own ways. When the team is needed again after Hydra's return and the news that Tony and Pepper broke up are made public, Steve might finally get his chance. Or, what starts off as everyone wrongly thinking Johnny's dating Spidey eventually leads to Johnny actually dating Spidey but pretending he isn't because he doesn't want to give his family the satisfaction of knowing they were right.

“You really aren’t going to admit that you’re dating him, are you?” Sue says incredulously. She taps her finger against that very incriminating photo in the tabloid. “You’re kissing him, baby brother, right here.”
“Kissing? Spidey? Me? I would never,” Johnny scoffs, right as he finishes making a date to meet Spidey later that night. “Not in a million years. I am way out of his league. I’m so far above him he can’t even see me.”
Spidey’s going to see plenty of Johnny later tonight, but Sue doesn’t need to know anything about that.

During the events of Age of Ultron, Sam is in Eastern Europe searching for Bucky Barnes, when he gets a call to come home to Louisiana, to his sister, who has just lost her husband. Unfortunately, due to the global threat from Ultron, all planes have been grounded.
Sam's only hope to get home is to trust the very man he had been sent to find.“Get up,” said Barnes. Voice even. “We’re getting you home.”
Sam rose without thinking. He hated that he did, but the word home had woken up the last coiled hope inside him.
Barnes turned and moved away. He didn’t look back, didn’t slow. No request to follow.
Sam just stood there with his bag slung over his shoulder, frozen to the spot; every muscle caught between bolting and advancing.
