“There.” Henry swallows through the thickness once again. In an attempt to bring about some levity, Henry teases, “You look pretty as any bride.”
Hans laughs wetly, something more of a spit than humor. He shakes his head and attempts to run his fingers through his locks but his hand pauses at the first touch of the chain. Bringing his own hand to his gaze, Hans’ mood fizzles, like barely there sparks bowing to a downpour. “Rather be your bride than her groom,” Hans clenches his hand into a fist and Henry watches the well-kept nails threaten to bleed the soft skin of his palm. As if Hans is on his knees seeking forgiveness for his confession, bleeding and paying his way into Heaven’s gates.

Summary
Normally Dismas enjoys a nice week off. With no eldritch horrors and as much booze as he can afford. But this time he has a reason to not enjoy his respite; namely that Reynauld has been sent off on a foray into the Ruin's without him, and if he's honest, Dismas doesn't trust anyone to keep his Crusader safe but him.
(Wait... HIS Crusader?)
How will Dismas react when some of his worst fears are realized, and an afflicted Reynauld gives away more than he probably should?

Summary
It doesn’t really matter, he reminds himself. He’s making a change, just like all of Reigen’s clients. What’s on his hands isn’t set in stone. He just has to make sure Reigen doesn’t see it— even if it might feel nice to have that steady attention, Reigen’s hands that are so much nicer than Serizawa’s folding around his.
(or: Reigen starts offering palm readings as a service, leading to Serizawa having to confront his feelings for his boss.)
