Summary
Stiles Stilinski is a young, chronically sleep-deprived detective who's manipulative and morally dubious at best. He's fairly certain that, in the years since he started working for the California Bureau of Investigation, he's seen most of the horrible things that the world could possibly throw at him.
But that's before a body turns up in an alley in Beacon Hills, brutally tortured, with a symbol burned into its back. It's quickly followed by a second and third, and when Stiles is unable to find any hint as to who the culprits might be, his father decides to bring in some outside help.
His name is Derek Hale, and he too has seen some truly horrible things, only some of them on the job.
Stiles hates him immediately. But Derek may be their only hope for solving the case, so Stiles reluctantly agrees to accept his help.
As it turns out, neither of them have seen anything close to the depths of human depravity that await them in the woods and down the back roads surrounding Beacon Hills.

Summary
7 years after the apocalypse Stiles sets out to find his high school girlfriend Heather who he’s discovered is still alive in a world overrun with monsters. Along the way he meets Boy, an unusually intelligent dog with his own past tragedies (and who refuses to be called Dude) and the mysterious Argent clan who seem to know more than anyone should, and may be connected to several terrible deaths.
Thank you to snowqueenlou the best beta reader one could hope for. She is the reason this isn't an incoherent mess of typos and tenses and completely missing parts of the story.

Months after Election Day, Bruce is still haunted by Edward Nashton and all the parts of himself the Riddler thought made them kin. While he knows he cannot be Vengeance anymore, it’s hard to see Hope when he’s staring at his own reflection in the mirror.
As novel criminals establish a foothold in Gotham, Bruce struggles to define both Bruce Wayne and the Batman while realizing that maybe he can’t be everything his city needs on his own. When a familiar face returns from upstate and several old friends emerge as new allies, he learns that maybe he doesn’t have to be alone at all.
