‘Kontrollpunkt W-72 Wertheimer’ is an asteroid base orbiting off of Leng. A glorified security checkpoint more than anything else. Nothing interesting ever happens down here.
Que in a strange little Starling mentee. She’s different. Prefers preening and cleaning rather than clobbering heads. The mentor; an overbearing officer who doesn’t know what she wants. Has the hots for anyone with her own face. A rival Starling butting in, trying to take what's hers. All she wants is a little love. Inconsequential - no gives a shit about her.
Interpersonal drama’s the name of the game. These Starlings have to decide whether they can work together or implode together.
Nothing interesting ever happens down here.

Summary
