Summary
Second chances can come in strange ways.
In 2401, just as she thinks there may be a chance to fix things with Brad—her best friend, first officer, and ex-husband—Captain Beckett Mariner’s life is stolen from her. Their ship is destroyed by a temporal anomaly, and she and most of her crew wake up safe in their own younger bodies 20 years earlier.
The problem? They’re all quickly losing their memories of a future they can never return to.
Even worse? Boimler and Tendi are among those who didn’t make it into the past with them. Brad has no memory of the future Mariner shared with him.
When the final encounter with Badgey then goes much worse than it should, Mariner is thrust into temporary command of a Cerritos with a severely depleted crew, in a now vulnerable Federation with subspace communications crippled and millions dead.
The galaxy will never be the same again. Not in her lifetime. Not this time around. But only time will tell if Mariner can learn from the mistakes she made the first time.

Summary
Boimler and Mariner are captured by suspicious aquatic aliens on an away mission - aliens who weren't even supposed to exist on this planet. Trapped far below the ocean's surface in a hidden underwater city, communication issues are making it difficult to convince their captors they mean no harm, and the clashing of their own protective instincts for each other isn't helping things either. Especially when there might be more behind those instincts than either of them is willing to admit.
Maybe being trapped in a cell together will give them a chance to talk about some things. If the torture isn't too distracting.
Set after season 4 episode 3 initially, and continuing through the rest of season 4 and after.

Summary
"You try having two versions of yourself in your head. I’m trying to live two lives lives at once! I have memories of things that may never happen now, I—Mom, there are now two people on this ship I was married to in another life, one of which is aware of it, and no, I’m not telling you who.”
Mariner and several others on the Cerritos wake up with twenty years of extra memories. Even if the memories fade, they might spark a few changes. In the meantime, it's a lot to deal with, but that's what friends are for.

Summary
Rebel Rick (C-1031) has been doing pretty well for himself for a while in dimension C-142. He has a version of his family that’s learned to love him, with a Beth who wasn’t murdered as a baby and a Morty to go on adventures with. After a hard life fighting the Galactic Federation and hunting the Rick that killed his original family, it’s nice.
Until the same evil Rick from thirty years ago tracks him down, brutally murders his grandson, and destroys his family’s home and any means of helping Morty or cloning him in time to save his memories.
Desperate to get his Morty back somehow—not a clone with generic memories, or a Morty from another universe—Rebel Rick turns to C-137 and Morty Prime for help. There’s still no guarantee his plan will work the way he means for it to, but he has to try.

Summary
Our Rick and Morty have some reflecting to do after the events of the season 6 finale, but they generally suck at that. Maybe a visit from Rebel Rick (C-1031) will help.
Or not. But he’s sure as hell going to try.
Or: Some insight into the Rebel Rick's life after Infinity Hour may give Morty and Rick C-137 some much-needed perspective, or they may just yell at each other.

Summary
Homelander found himself fighting against it, despite the sweet sensation of serenity. The rate at which he was lulled into a mild trance was almost alarming. He was losing control, eyelids growing heavier by the minute the more he took it all in. For the first time in years, he felt truly relaxed. His mind was entirely blank, Hughie’s soft voice neutralising the venomous thoughts that constantly poisoned his mind. He never would have thought something so simple would give him comfort.
tldr: Homelander discovers Hughie's ASMR channel and becomes obsessed.

Summary
“MARINER DOESN’T WANT ME. Not…not like I want her.”
Mariner was astonished that Boimler agreed to be friends with benefits in the first place. She really should have known he wasn't the type to be able to pull it off.

Summary
“The Spice Girls?”
There’s laughter in Hughie’s voice, mocking, a tease that’s far more dangerous than he realizes.
“Put it back,” Butcher growls, abso-fucking-lutely deadly in his tone. “Put it back where you found it right now.”
Hughie doesn’t ask.
Doesn’t tease.
Just puts the tape back in, carefully, slowly, tucking it behind a couple of handguns and some loose ammunition.
“Is this lube?” Hughie squeaks.
Aka - the time they fuck in the caddie.
