And still, he laughs as his Evol comes out to whip at your skin. The sharp bite of it cuts through your flesh, creating stinging gashes in your body. It pummels and bruises your flesh, hard knots of energy beating the breath from your body. Pain erupts through you, but it doesn’t matter. The physical agony is secondary. It’s nothing compared to the inferno raging inside you.
The pain burns its way into your mind, rooting itself so deeply that you can’t remember anything else. You can’t remember the way he had once looked at you or the way he had purred your name. You can’t remember the warmth that had once existed beneath his mask.

Inspired by the request: The reader used to have an emotionally and physically abusive ex and the group runs into her ex and his group and shit hits the fan and the reader gets hurt.
