Will Byers — Zombie boy. Moved to California but came back after the earthquake. He wasn’t here for Jason’s cult accusations, but he can’t like me very much, seeing as I landed a pretty nasty punch on his friend in sophomore year.
Chance’s eyes lingered a little longer than they should have as he walked in. If he were being completely honest, he always found Will the most… intriguing, out of that group—something about the mystery that came with being “dead” for a week. Chance sometimes caught a glimpse of him working in an empty art room after practice, or at games, quietly cheering Lucas on.
Before Chance knew it, Will was in front of him, sliding a VHS across the counter.
OR
Chance gets a job at Family Video for the summer, and Will is a regular.
