“That’s the best you could negotiate it down to?” Ranpo asked once Fukuzawa was done explaining the contract, a slight edge to his voice and Dazai already knew exactly what he was thinking of: the contract was pretty much foolproof on Mori’s end. When someone went in, they might as well be stuck.
“Mori’s initial plan involved multiple rounds of physical and psychological torture to manufacture loyalty to the Mafia,” Dazai added in, feeling a bit of pity for Fukuzawa.
“And how do you know that if this is the first we’re all hearing about this?” Yosano asks and Dazai’s smile turns bitter.
“Mori, I’ll give you the pleasure of answering that.”
“Thank you,” He says smoothly before standing up. “I’ve decided the best course of action is to take Dazai Osamu back to his home in the Port Mafia.”

In which Dazai has planned to return to the Port Mafia, but he doesn't plan on making it much further after that.

Aahhh, I love some ED fics like this. It grasps the whole concept of having an eating disorder, at least for me. I used to feel this way (and still do). It makes me feel good to see that I'm not alone, even if it's through fanfiction. Amazing work, really. ❤️❤️❤️

It feels right to push people away, a means of protection for both him and the other person caught in his poison. Bringing a hand to his partner’s neck, an awkward position from how they’re seated, he shoves him back, using his other arm for help so he doesn’t break his wrist.
The shorter falls like dead weight onto the cushion next to him, blessedly away from the brunet.
He should feel better about this new predicament, but his chest now only hurts more with what must be that emotion Odasaku was talking about called guilt. When he looks back to his lover, the weight of guilt slowly crushes each one of his bones under invisible pressure.
Or; Dazai fears his touch hurts the people around him. Chuuya proves him wrong with cuddles.
