Summary
Kita never admits to asking his granny to make them for Aran. Despite the fact that they were clearly made for a specific person (Aran) and despite that they fit perfectly, and despite that they were given to Aran on the exact first day that the weather report calls for temperatures to drop below freezing.
Aran plays along, because it is kind of funny, and he likes having these odd inside jokes with Kita. Besides, they really are nice gloves, and Aran knows better than to question the motivation behind them - if Kita wants him to know, he’ll tell him. In his own time.
Regardless, the gloves practically save his life during the cold winter, and he can’t help but think that they’re the nicest gift he’s ever received.
But maybe he’s biased.
