Summary
He had to at least give it a shot. If there was a power that would let both him and Brett could stay this week, it was worth a try. Winston was a salesman, after all. But Sam's not the easiest customer to sell to, and it'll take a lot more than shiny words to win her over.
Takes place on the night of the Week 3 eviction, if Winston did end up confronting Sam about her power like he wanted to.
Winston/Sam friendship, with a bit of implied Winston/Brett (at least one-way)

Summary
He lay in bed at night and he wished he didn’t, but he thought about Buck. Wondered who was touching Buck. Who was seeing him in that way. He wondered if Buck felt satisfied at the end of it or if he just felt more alone. He wondered if Buck needed him and wasn’t saying so.
He wondered what it must be like to have Buck that way. To hold him close, to hear the sounds he’d let slip when he was too distracted to be in his own head. He wondered how he’d look when he came undone, and if the person he was with could even begin to fathom how lucky they were.
But no, Buck just went back to eating his cereal, like he hadn’t just confessed to something that made Eddie’s whole body burn with too many feelings to articulate.
He was humming, happy as a pig in mud.
And as weird as he’d been with Eddie, Eddie found himself asking: “Sorry, are you humming Losing My Religion?”

Buck fucks, Eddie befriends a priest, and the whole thing burns to the ground.

Summary
"Kiss me."
Buck's hands freeze, the stroking stops. “...I’m sorry?”
“Kiss me.” Eddie doesn't know where this is coming from, except he does, actually—it's coming from the part of his brain that has been chewing on this problem for two days straight and has finally arrived at a solution. A terrible solution. A solution that makes perfect sense if you don't think about it too hard. "I need to know."

Summary
And here’s the thing. If Buck was paying just a little more attention, he probably would’ve clocked what the pain in his middle meant a lot sooner. It wouldn’t change the outcome, sure, but he’d at least be ahead of the curve.
The worst part is that it’s all rather obvious in retrospect, because the signs are all there. The flickering lights. The gymnasium air rippling and warping like heat off pavement. The dark patches on everyone’s suits and dresses.
He should’ve seen it.
But all he sees is Eddie. Everything else is just white noise and set dressing.

Summary
She’s got that pitying expression that always puts Eddie’s hackles up, the widows-and-orphans face, and she’s looking at Buck and Chris as Chris whoops his way down the slide and Buck watches carefully as he catches himself at the bottom. “He must miss his sister very much,” she says. “They look so much alike.”
In which someone makes a totally logical, if heteronormative, assumption and Eddie loses his damn mind about it.
