Summary
When Captain Marvel sends out a distress call, the only League member available is Batman. Bruce comes to his aid, but he finds out that Billy is a 10-year-old homeless orphan with black hair and blue eyes. Obviously, he makes the only logical decision and adopts Billy. Because it's Bruce—who's allergic to revealing life-changing information—the League is left in the dark.
This story is written as 5+1 story from the Justice League's POV as they attempt to define the weird relationship between Batman and Captain Marvel. 5 times they didn't realize Batman had adopted Captain Marvel, and the 1 time they did.

Not much has changed in Geralt’s 800 years on the Continent. Conjunctions spit out new monsters, people are hateful, whores are expensive.
But over the last few decades, humanity has grown dependent on technology that’s too delicate to withstand ambient Chaos, forcing witchers to rely on enterprising human liaisons for food, supplies, and contracts.
Witchers get fucked over and humans prosper. Same shit, different century.

Miscommunication which is very easily resolved by Geralt just fucking using his words one (1) time, Followed by a long overdue fucking.
Short, sweet, in character, to the point, beautiful, 10/10.

Arthur tensed. Did he really have such a tell? Damn Merlin and always being able to read Arthur like children’s book. “It doesn’t matter,” Arthur sighed in defeat, “She tried to something but it clearly didn’t work. I’m perfectly fine, as Gaius said, and when she finished speaking, she collapsed to the ground, dead. Her magic backfired and killed her instead of me, I suppose.”
He purposefully left out the part about the gold and the touch and the constant buzzing beneath his skin. He was sure it was nothing, and he knew it would only worry Merlin further.
When out with his Knights and Merlin, Arthur is targeted by a vengeful Sorceress (per usual), and struck by a spell with...Unusual effects. Dangerous effects. Faced with a fearful challenge, a treasonous secret to keep, Arthur let's Merlin in to help him, only to discover Merlin could help more than he would have thought.
