Summary
They stood face to face in the middle of a clearing. The dim light of the moon barely allowed Sherlock to see the glassy terror in John’s eyes and the sweat that glistened off his forehead. His nose was bleeding again, blood dripping in a slow stream from his right nostril.
They were both gasping for air, John’s eyes locked on Sherlock’s. There was no recognition there, just wild animal fear.
Time stood still for an eternal few seconds, and Sherlock took a shaky breath. “John—”
Spell broken, John spun and bolted back into the woods.
Still heaving for air, Sherlock took off after him.

Summary
Sherlock. So, that was his name.
John finds himself living with strangers, in the country house of his betrothed, aged only ten. The Holmes' Manor is a cruel place to grow up, and even moreso for a young omega boy. With his life's purpose apparently laid out before him, John struggles to come to terms with being engaged to someone he barely knows, and trusts even less. And there are monsters lurking in the manor, with their eyes on the young omega.
As maturity looms for both of them, can Sherlock and John find comfort in one another, or is that a step neither is willing to take?

Oh, she knew that plenty of other nurses hated the night shift, had trouble sleeping, dealing with the ruckus of the drunken patients but it had never bothered her. The only really difference for Maggie was her caffeine intake and that increased plenty as the night went on.

Harry keeps setting John up with blind dates in the hope that he might find "The One". John isn't so sure there's anyone out there who's meant for him; until he meets Paul. Paul seems like a dream come true at first, but things start getting messy very quickly, and when Sherlock realizes what's going on, it's up to him to try and get John out of Paul's reach. However, rescuing John from Paul becomes more difficult when Sherlock finds out exactly who Paul is. The detective must risk everything to save the army doctor's life, while also attempting to sort out his romantic feelings towards his friend.
