Summary
When you reach the bottom of the dark, you see a mermaid, presumably the Witch of Life, Heiress to the Sea. Her human half emerges out of the wall of black water at the end of the path. She holds a double-ended trident and what looks like a metalweighted net, her arms lit with white ley lines which flare off of a truly ridiculous amount of gold. She’s kind of huge and looks much older than you. It’s hot.
“They’ve not sent a landdweller before,” the mermaid says. “Are you here for my crown?”
Jade, experimenting with magic, accidentally transforms herself and her dog. She seeks the aid of the witch at the bottom of the ocean, who could use a little help of her own.

I'm analyzing the show one episode at a time. Dissecting each one for it's themes, motifs, foreshadowing, and character development. My most recent analysis chapter is on Hunting Palismen. Next I'm uploading my analysis of Season 2 Episode 7: Eda's Requiem.
My analysis of S1E1-S1E14 were originally published after Season 1 and before Season 2; and my analysis of S1E15-S2E5 were during Season 2. I’m currently in the process of rewriting/editing some of those earlier chapter. Chapters 1-2 have been updated.

Okay, so I don't know how many people know who Squirrel Girl is, but I stumbled upon her and decided she was probably the best thing I'd ever heard of. For those not in the know, Doreen Green, aka Squirrel Girl, is a young mutant who is the single most powerful character in the marvel multiverse. She has taken out M.O.D.O.K., Dr. Doom, and Thanos with the power of squirrels and it was never retconned.
In any case, I am an aspiring filmmaker and thought it would be cool to make a fan film. But, naturally, issues of time, money, support, and access to CG technology mean I may or may not have the ability to do this. I'm proud of this little script, though, and figured I'd post it where potential other fans could read it.

That was when they did something strange with their hands. They let out a loud squealing noise, raised their hands up, and started to flap them rapidly, like a bird monster, all the while kicking their legs so rapidly that their plate nearly fell to the floor. At first, it surprised you, but they looked so happy doing it that it was obvious that it was because they were happy.
Then they realized what they’d just done and their face went bright red. Their smile went away again, and they hugged themselves, and you didn’t need your mother to tell you they were deeply, deeply ashamed.
So you let out a sharp, high-pitched squeal, and you lifted your paws and flapped them too, kicking your legs.
