An unassuming middle class Chicago suburb is not where you’d expect to find the home of a certified rock legend, but that’s where I found myself when looking to interview the elusive Eddie Munson.
In stark contrast from his seemingly no holds barred, outrageous on-stage persona, Eddie Munson has remained a tough nut to crack when it comes to tying him down for an interview about more personal matters than music. He is notoriously private about his life offstage and has kept a fairly tame profile compared to many of his contemporaries from the Seattle grunge scene. But today I was granted the interview everyone has been after, the man himself is ready to let us in and let me tell you ladies & gentlemen, you’re in for a treat, Munson’s got a few bombshells to drop.
