Todoroki Touya has not always been Todoroki Touya. Touya knows this because in his dreams he sees a man with blond hair cradling a broken body he knows is his. He glimpses a bleeding uchiwa symbol and a blur of black hair inside a village gate, and fitfully stirs from sleep when weapons clash under a hazy sky. War plagues him every waking moment; Touya has to rub his eyes when Fuyumi toddles around the kitchen floor, because all he can see is blood slathering her every limb, her body falling, gray and ashen—Touya knows that he is not who he should be.
Or: Uchiha Sasuke reincarnates into Todoroki Touya. Chaos ensues.

literally the best thing i have ever read. it inspires my characterization of sasuke and i will NEVER be the same after reading this. i've re-read in good company like at least 4 times it is my annual routine and everyone should read this and prepare to have their entire worldview swept apart. prose, world-building, dialogue, characterization. it has it all.
