Summary
Katsuki and Shouto are classmates, and that's it.
Katsuki is sick and tired of the way he's perceived, so he decides to go on a journey to change it, that's when he starts to volunteer at a hospital in the city, in hopes that he can bring out a gentler part of himself.
He ends up meeting Rei Himura and grows close to her, without realizing she's none other than his classmate's mother, Shouto, who everyone knows has a very complicated family history.
Shouto, on the other hand, is dealing with his own demons. Broken and scarred from his past, his life starts falling apart once again as his father resurfaces, trying to take him away from his siblings.
For some odd reason, Katsuki feels compelled to approach Shouto, and that's when they start to grow closer, and some feelings start to bloom, as they help each other to grow and heal.

With a new arm and a semi-restored body, he's feeling better than a dead man should be- not to mention all the unnecessary help he's being given by both friends, family, and the newly reformed government. Pfft, like he even needs the help... but now that he's been given his second chance, Touya discovers that it's not so easy to fit back into "normal" life. Everything in his life has changed, and he's not quite sure where to go next. Or even who he's supposed to be now.
(Throughout the story, there'll be mentions and scenes with other ships- such as Sero x Shoto and Izu Himi Chako! But because this story is focused on Touya's growth rather than romance, even DabiHawks won't be our main focus.)
