Summary
Theodore Bagwell is spending six counts of life in prison, doing onto other inmates what was once done to him, spreading misery, chaos, and fear throughout Fox River with abandon. However, his newest cellmate refuses to play by the rules of the game, no matter how likely it is to get him killed.
Now T-Bag is having his entire world view challenged day in and day out, and has no idea what to do with it. Clinging to the violence like a port in a storm is beginning to feel suffocating. But it's the only control and comfort he's ever known.
All he wants is to be able to breathe.

Volo clears his throat. “I have. You shouldn’t have to worry. Even the inexperienced have their charm! You’ll learn the more you do it.”
Akari glances away for only a moment, then riskily, she leans into him. Slowly closing the gap between them, the pressure in the air that still separates them quickly becomes thick and heavy. She locks onto him with an unfamiliar hunger guiding her, and in the haze moments before she speaks, he swears he can hear the thrum of both their pulses beating together.
“Would you teach me then?”
Volo teachers his favorite customer how to kiss.
