He says it with his full chest, doesn’t bother to try and lower the words, looks his dad dead in his weepy eyes. His heart breaks at the way Dad’s face falls, like a stone guardian cracking. Dad scrubs a hand over his face. Dean doesn’t want to know what hallucinations he’s feeding into tonight.
It’s not that Dad forgets, it’s more that he needs a little extra comfort. There are days where the grief of Mom’s death hits just that much harder and Dad needs him more than ever.

He looks old. Maybe that’s harsh. His hair is still a dusty blonde, not at all graying, but there are distinct wrinkles on his forehead and worn smile lines. He’s a lot softer around the edges. Not old, but considering the fact that the last time they saw each other was over twenty years ago… he’s fucking old. It’s almost laughable if Darry wasn’t such a hot mess himself.

He misses the warmth of another person, even if it’s just Eddie’s presence inches away from him. God, he wants Eddie to hold him. He wants to feel wanted and safe and secure, something he can’t get in the emptiness of his cold apartment.
Buck is lonely and cold and just really wants someone to hold him. Luckily for him, Eddie is warm. Eddie is home.

A heavy sigh escapes from Johnny’s lips as his eyelids slip shut. “I dunno, man. Maybe.”
It’s almost been a week and their supplies are running low. All they’ve been barely surviving on is some bread and baloney. They’re both getting sick of it— Pony especially. He seems to almost visibly turn green at the thought of baloney. They did have a jar of peanut butter for a little while, but out of pure boredom, Pony had dared Johnny to eat the entire jar day or two ago. It’s hard to remember. Everything seems to be blurring together. That’s probably a bad sign.
The two are at the church. Johnny just wants to run away from everything. Ponyboy has another nightmare. They get through it together.

Kojiro can feel himself still shaking as Kaoru’s chair screeches from under him. He doesn’t have to say anything for Kojiro to understand and feel his anger and frustration. He can feel it in the weight of Kaoru’s footsteps and in the way he shoves open the door. He can feel his heart beating faster, his breath picking up as his chest tightens. It’s only when he hears the bell ring for the second time that he allows himself to release a shuddering sob.

The room is stuffy and hot, and the space pushes an uncomfortable weight onto his body. All of his limbs feel ten million thousand times heavier, to the point where even breathing feels near impossible and standing is the most physical activity he’s ever done.
He just wants Shouta to end the training session already. He wants to feel a pillow suffocating his face as he sinks into bed. His cats’ scratchy meows as their claws dig into his back and crush his spine.
He just wants to sleep.
Forever.
Or maybe just overdose on sleeping pills. Same thing.

Although Alexander had expected this, it was still unbelievable. What was he supposed to do next? He knew his parents would financially support him no matter what but he needed to be on his own. He already relied on them so much as it is. Fairly often, Philip would stay over with them when Alexander needed. Like when he needed to stay at school for longer than originally intended- today, for example, or when he just needed to be alone because he needed to clear his head. In those times, he could barely take care of himself, let alone another human being.
