Summary
His hair is different. His face is sharper. He wears smudgy eyeliner under his eyes. He holds himself differently, more confidently. He is elegant, rather than lanky.
But he has the same gaze, the same curve of his lips, the same brows. He is as beautiful as the boy from six years ago.

Or:One way or another, Neil survives. His father sends him to military school, after which he continues to Harvard, perfectly according to plan. He has not contacted the Dead Poets in years. He lives in a small apartment with his best friend, Joyce. One night, he catches a glimpse of... someone.

Summary
Because yes, he is, and has been for a while, terrifyingly curious. That’s what passion is, isn’t it? A deep curiosity and love. That’s what he’s been feeling, passion, and it’s Neil’s fault.
Go find what you love and hold on forever, hold on for as long as you can. Write poetry, Todd, write poetry, stick with what you love.
Even if it leaves in the dead of night.Title from the song 'Star' by Mitski, incredibly underrated, would recommend.
this was written on a whim in like an hour. -

Summary
It starts with a poem and a proposal on a rainy evening.
They can’t get married. Not legally. But they can stand beneath the trees with the rest of the Dead Poets circling them like constellations, and Mr Keating in the front row wiping his eyes unsubtly.
Later, there’s a kid. She has a bookshelf far too big for her room and insists her dads fell in love because of poetry, which is technically true.
This is a story about love that doesn’t need paperwork to be real — just a porch light left on, a cat named Walt Whitman, and forever promised over cups of tea.

Summary
Todd lives quietly in the city Neil never got to see.
It’s been a decade since he died, but Todd never really stopped looking for him. In late-night dreams. In poems he never lets anyone read.He works a mundane job at a publishing house, lives alone, and counts his life in missed calls and unsent poems. The city they once dreamed of sharing together now feels like a mausoleum of almosts.
Then, one winter night, Todd sees him. Or someone who looks enough like him to make it hurt.
A man on the subway. Dark brown hair. Green sweater. Beauty mark.It isn’t Neil. Of course it isn’t.
But why does it still hurt so much?Series
