yoongi observed the other with extreme interest. he knew he shouldn’t stare like that but what else was he going to do sitting in this empty fucking cell? the man looked neat. his face wasn’t roughed out like most criminals, it was rather…nice? he had this expression on his face, like a good mix of bedroom eyes and intimidating eyes. he was obviously one of those cliché silent, broody hardened crooks. and he was reading marx? okay so he wasn’t dumb for sure.
he had slender fingers, clipped nails and the cigarette dangled between his index and middle finger perfectly. he placed the burning tobacco between his lips and let it stay there, took a few drags while focusing on his book. yoongi was intrigued, he didn’t smoke and watching this guy he kind of wanted to? prison was clearly a bad influence on him. he continued to look as the guy pulled it out of his mouth with his index finger and his thumb, holding it just like that while taking the last few puffs and flicking it outside the cell.

aka it takes 4 days for taehyung's new cellmate to actually start liking prison. and the reason behind it is quite obvious.
