Dean never thought that he would have to live without Cas. After he came back the last time, he just assumed that they had all the time in the world. That they could live their own version of a happily ever after, whatever that means when you’re a hunter known for fighting apocalypses and an angel who can’t seem to stay out of trouble. Part of him is crushed and another part is so fucking angry with Cas for making the deal and for leaving him again. Deep down, he knows Cas did the right thing. Nothing was going to stop Billie from killing them both if she had the chance. But losing Cas again? This time forever? It is not something he is willing to accept. Little does he know; Cas and Jack are working on a project of their own, just for him.
Story begins right after 15x19 and continues through 15x20.

When Muriel shoots Crowley with Cupid's Arrow, Aziraphale is desperate to find a way to reverse it. But Crowley is acting differently than everyone else who was shot by the bow. Perhaps it was because he's a demon. Or was there another reason?

“Get bored of the bureaucracy up there, Angel?” Crowley bit with much more venom than was necessary, but he’d always been one to hold a grudge. It was part of what lumped him in with his old lot downstairs.
When Aziraphale went to speak, Crowley cut him off instantly.
“Don’t you dare try that recruitment shit on me. Heaven made it clear that I had ideas way above my station long ago. You’ve got some real nerve to try that on me again after-” his throat went dry at the memory, Crowley taking a lengthy sip of his whiskey he was brooding over in the pub near his new apartment.
“Ah, yes, well. I’m sorry for whatever I did-”
“You should be,” the demon hissed.
“-but… Who… are you…?”

“And you bet… what? With whom?”
“Oh, with me!” Muriel exclaims. “Mr. Crowley bet me that I couldn’t convince a customer I was human!”
“Barmy woman,” Crowley fills in. “Think you could have told her the coatrack was a human.” He sounds so grouchy about it that Aziraphale wants to bundle him in a blanket and set him by the fire with spiked cocoa.
Crowley loses a bet and, temporarily, becomes a human. Aziraphale, predictably, frets.
