Summary
While burying the bodies of their respective, fresh kills, they hear footsteps in the distance.
They move at the same time. The chase is fast and wordless, previously polished shoes pounding wet grass as the distance closes. The target is looking back, screaming for help, but by the time they turn forward—BAMM! A shovel collides with their face.
And then— the two in pursuit look up.
