He has to search the sea of merchants for an armorer; he has to find the coin to buy armor, which will mean finding someone willing to offer a decent price for Sweetfoot; he has Egg back at camp, and though Dunk was younger than him the first time the old man left him to see to the needs all men have, it would be poorly done to leave the boy too long by himself.
He should be on his way, but he lets Lyonel take him by the arms.
No kind of armor can shield Dunk from the dark and searching eyes of Lyonel Baratheon.

It's a gradual, insidious thing, Fox's absorption into the Chancellor's office. The Chancellor wants a clone commander of his own, so he gets one. All Fox gets is a position far away from his brothers, a lesson in how to work around natborns who detest his very existence, and a seemingly endless list of monotonous jobs to keep him occupied through all his waking hours and beyond.
Fox misses Kamino.

Commander Fox is a naturally suspicious man. Cody used to say he’d been decanted too early and that made him paranoid, but Fox never thought that was a bad thing. He’s still alive, after all, which is more than can be said for a good portion of his vode, even before they left Kamino.
Coruscant, though…Coruscant etched paranoia into his bones, and made him pass on his suspicious ways to his men, willing or no.Or, Fox is deeply repressed. Quinlan Vos is the kind of guy that tests the limits of that repression.
