Summary
Han Sooyoung knew that Kim Dokja and Yoo Joonghyuk had some kind of bond with each other, but she was certain that those two would never dare to openly show it to the extent of hugging each other so tightly in front of all their teammates.
“Hyung! Are you okay? I’ll protect you!”
“Wow, my dear little brother! You’re so cool!!”
…And they definitely wouldn’t out of character like this, either.
Han Sooyoung had a pounding headache. Just who on earth was inside those two bodies?

Summary
Robert Robertson has, spontaneously, become ten years old.
“What’s not legal? Employing a man? Ask him why he can’t drive his own damn self back from the station!”
“Well, he’s ten, sir. Ten year olds aren’t allowed to work.” There was a long pause, then an unsubtle cough. “Or drive.”
Hands on her hips, Blazer slammed to a halt, face expectant. Chase silently counted down from ten in his head, then took a long, calming breath.
“Let me get this straight. Robert Robertson is at your police station, and he is visibly ten years old?”
Blazer startled, anger evaporating in a blink.

Summary
One of the main characters - the only surviving witness to a murder - has just woken from a coma. Not only is she entirely cognizant, but the first thing that the subtitles say she asks for is a lawyer.
“What are you fucking giggling about?”
The other person that’s been paying attention is Flambae. He’s right next to Robert on the couch, his arm slung over the top behind his head. One foot is propped up on the other knee, also pointing towards Robert, which has him caged in the corner by the arm rest. It’s probably some fucked-up power move. Robert has been ignoring it just to spite him.
“It’s just not how comas work,” Robert shrugs.
“Right, and you know because you’re a fucking doctor,” Flambae quips back.
“I know because I was in one, asshole.”
------
During a quiet night in, Robert realizes that his coma and injuries aren't common knowledge among Z-Team.
Most of them take the information in stride with jokes aplenty.
Flambae does not.

Summary
When facing a strange villain that feeds off fear, that pulls the trauma from people’s throats like a horsehair worm from a wriggling mantis, Robert thinks it’s going to be routine, that Flambae will deal with him and get some free therapy as a bonus, that he’s safe behind his desk where the villain called Archivist won’t even think about him.
He’s wrong.

Summary
Chase leans towards the baby and squints at her like she's a criminal sitting across an interrogation table. Robert knows he named his daughter right when she matches his expression one-for-one. “At least tell me you didn't follow the stupid family tradition. We're running out of nicknames for Robert that ain’t Bob.”
A weight lifts off of Robert's chest. Some unseen, fractured pattern comes to completion, and the joy of it is pure and simple. “Chase,” he says, not knowing whether to sob or laugh, “she's named after you.”
It didn't quite dawn on him yet, clearly. Chase snorts and scratches Beef's ears. “Yeah, right. First name Track, last name Star?”
Robert hoists the baby up to the full twenty-eight inches of limb and menace. “Chase, meet Chase.”
