“Shawn?” She asked, confused and tentative as she stepped towards him, eyebrows creasing like a cheap pillow. He’d already done his theatrics. This wasn’t the normal script.
Shawn’s arm spasmed, hard, and Gus saw the pull of his lips that denoted extreme pain and discomfort. Using this to his advantage, Shawn yelled out again, grabbing towards his shoulder like he was being forcibly thrown around. He sort of was.

Shawn had a tendency to slip deep into thought. Juliet had also seen similar looks when on cases, just before Shawn broke it all and cracked that final clue. She’d long since, secretly, dubbed it as his ‘spirit face.’ It made the most sense and while she never planned to ask, despite the curiosity burning in her small intestine, she could hazard an informed guess based on all the past data.
So, again, she wondered why Gus was so insistent in his worry.

Shawn Spencer talks in his sleep. Now, this shouldn’t be surprising to anyone who has ever met the guy, even for a single moment. Shawn is always talking. He never seems to stop, actually, as many of his teachers, lovers, and even the criminals he’s caught have pointed out. So talking in his sleep just makes perfect sense.
It’s the things he speaks about that don’t.
Most of the time, Shawn mumbles nonsensical things. Nine out of ten times, the quotes were funny and very obviously came out the same way they would if Shawn was awake. He was a nuisance through and through.Unfortunately, Gus was astounding at probabilities and statistics and even he knew that 1% had to come back around eventually.
