“You have such beautiful eyes. Have I ever told you that?” Kaelix grips Malim’s shoulders tighter. There’s his own voice at the back of his head yelling at him that his nails might tear through Malim’s leather jacket, but he’s stunned beyond belief at the compliment. He’s heard of it before, exact words from the same guy, but—”I probably have. I may be stupid, but I’m not dumb.”
Kaelix finds even swallowing nothing difficult. His left eye twitches, and he’s sure his smile is now closer to a grimace. “I, haha, well, um—yes! Yes, uh, you have—” He internally winces at the unintentional display of being a walking (standing?) embarrassment. “You have, before. But does that—does that mean you enjoy seeing me, uh, squint, huh? You do not want me to see properly, is what I’m hearing? Me—an, Malim!” He singsongs as he drags the first syllable. His hands have still yet to leave Malim’s shoulders. Not like Malim is addressing it.
(There are other things to address as well, but it’s three in the morning, and Kaelix knows his roommate enough that they shouldn’t. Maybe not right now. Maybe not ever.)
Kaelix knows there's no name for the space between him and Malim('s lips).

Liron picked the beaker up and held it to the light, much like he had seen Elias do many times with other such liquid experiments, "Can I drink it? It smells really good?" he asked while licking his lips.
"Uh, well, it won't harm you, but it probably won't taste so gre-" the scientist spoke before pausing as the man before him acted on impulse.
With zero hesitation, Liron brought the beaker to his lips, leaned his head back, and swallowed the pink liquid down as if it were a shot of vodka. He slammed the beaker back down on the desk and let out a heavy "Ergh…" sound.
