Once the smoke dissipated after the tragedy at Hale Manor, the survivors of the once-thriving pack were scattered like ash in the wind. For some, the next two years passed like a suffocating gust of wind, pinning them to the burning embers they could never quite heal from. For others, it dragged on slowly, allowing their scars to fade as they watched the grass on their scorched life regrow. “What’s Tats doing about it? Has he told you anything?” Miles asked hurriedly.
“I believe that he’s decided to set the guy on fire,” Bitsy deadpanned.
