No sooner have they arrived at their "house by the sea" than Dean gets knocked flat by something awful – really awful. Written absolute eons ago (in 2010) for a comment fic meme at hoodie_time on LJ. Prompt: When they were young, something happened to Sam (injured, sick, whatever) and John had to take him to the hospital. They almost lost him, and ever since then Dean's been terrified of the big white building. It hadn't been a problem, until now. Dean gets severly injured and Sam takes him to the hospital, unkowing of his brother's fear. Protective/comforting!Sam ensues.
