Shang Qinghua is upset.
No, not upset. Well, he is upset, but it’s more than that. He’s frustrated and sad and upset and so much more than he’s able to identify right now, but upset is definitely one of the strongest feelings he can recognize right now.
It’s a Saturday night, and once again, Shang Qinghua is sitting in his apartment, drunk and alone.
He and Shen Yuan had their usual hangout where they spent too much time drinking, eating junk food, and gossiping like old ladies; it had been going great, excellent even. Shang Qinghua loves spending time with his best friend, but when Shen Yuan called for Luo Binghe to pick him up, as usual, things turned sour. Not for Shen Yuan. He was perfectly happy and in love.
So in love.

Summary
A quiet groan is the only warning Shen Yuan gets, looking up just in time to watch Shang Qinghua’s eyes flutter open.
“Wh…?” His eyes are hazy and glassy, rolling around the room in obvious confusion. Shen Yuan is perfectly prepared for this. His research had said that many people who undergo anesthesia typically wake up confused and disorientated, all normal.
Once those warm brown eyes settle on him, Shen Yuan smiles, “About time you lazy writer.”

Summary
Another hand is under his shoulders, supporting him gently as Shang Qinghua knees give out suddenly. Shivering, the omega has no choice but to cling to strong shoulders as he tries to regain some form of sanity. Try being the keyword, because Mobei-Jun doesn’t seem like he’s going to let Shang Qinghua go, even for a moment, pulling them closer as he angles his head for another kiss. Slow and deep – his mouth is tingling and he´s overwhelmed, whimpering, feeling saliva running down his chin and rapidly losing the reason to even care. He has never been kissed this way, never felt this good before.
But he has, hasn’t he? Images of a kiss, of promises of belonging to someone, of heat; all flash before his eyes and Shang Qinghua feels dizzy. His mind pulled in so many directions.
The kiss stops then, fangs brushing his mouth in a harsh bite before retreating and Shang Qinghua makes a sound of protest, tries to follow. The laugh is low, more a purr than an actual sound, but is makes Shang Qinghua flush in arousal and shame. “Qinghua may claim all the lies he can think of, but your body says different.”

Shang Qinghua still doesn’t understand what made him crawl into his King’s bed of all places to sleep, but he’s glad that he wasn’t caught or worse!
He also ignores the little voice in the back of his mind that whispers to him that he knows exactly why he chose that bed to fall into. He just won’t admit how much he wishes his King would claim him as something more than an advisor. It was demon custom after all. Any omega that purposely lay in an alpha’s bed would instantly become theirs. Mobei-Jun would have been no different. But he never came to bed. Shang Qinghua is certain he would have woken up if Mobei-Jun had climbed into bed with him. Especially if he was going to knot and claim him!
