Summary
Growing apart and unsure of their future together, a prestigious opportunity for Izuku presents the ultimate test for the integrity of his and Ochako's relationship. He'll be gone for a full year in the United States fulfilling a hero exchange program most young heroes could only dream of attending.
Unfortunately, this means leaving Ochako alone in Japan, a prospect that only exacerbates the cracks in their life together. Perhaps the time apart will make their hearts grow fonder, or, maybe, that distance will reveal the rotten foundation of what they once called love. It's all so confusing during the daytime – they both amble through the day-to-day trying to focus on other things. It's been a rough week. Between villain attacks, tech problems, old injuries flaring up, and one of her nest-partners being away on a mission, Ochako was more than a little pent up. But that's ok, she's ok. She just has to last another three days and then everything will be better. Definitely.
No problem at all.
So Himiko takes it upon herself to remind her wonderful Mochi that it's not only ok, but important to let her feelings out.

Summary
A waft of spice hit Ochako’s nostrils and she reeled back in shock. She has faced down countless villains since coming to UA. She has been in battle and in hand to hand combat possibly a hundred times. She faced Overhaul’s minions with support from her peers, but otherwise without outside help. But no villain with a terrifying quirk has ever struck her with more fear than quirkless Melissa shoveling curry made of peppers so deadly it killed an unprepared Pro Hero famous for his spice tolerance on live TV. Deku was still guzzling water directly from the sink, Tokoyami’s quirk was crying in pain as he casually shoveled more into his mouth, and Melissa was handling the spice like a pro.
Being biologically quirkless came more with an extra pinkie joint in the toes and a stunning lack of vestiges mutations. It came with smaller things, like extra teeth that did virtually nothing, exploding organs, and weird exposed nerves that weren't designed to feel pain.

Everyone knows that the way to check if someone is Quirkless is to see if they have two joints in their pinky toe. It's the sign that the person has no Quirk- that they haven't reached the next stage in evolution that most people have.
However, most people don't realize that there are *other* differences between the Quirked and the Quirkless, other parts that haven't evolved.Or: 5 times 1-A thinks Midoriya is dying and/or sick, and the 1 time the truth is (partially) spilled.

Shouta is a dead man walking.
He knew this day was coming. Indeed, ever since Nedzu had sat serenely in his office as if he wasn’t about to make Shouta pray for the ceiling to collapse and crush him faster than Midoriya crushes his bones. Because apparently the principal eats his breakfast cereal with the tears of his staff, he had sat in his armchair, smiling angelically like the psychopathic man-bear-mouse-demon that he really is, and had handed out lesson plans like they were pixie sticks and not harbingers of destruction that would ruin Shouta’s life.
OR: it's time for Class 1-A's Sex Ed lesson and Aizawa is suffering.
