    Sam grinned at the familiar sarcasm. "What, you're not gonna kiss it better?"

    Bucky leaned closer to Sam’s ear, lips just above the edge of the bandage that covered the wound. “Why? Did you want me to?”

    He waited, one beat, then two, before Sam did the unexpected: he nodded.
