No, Charlie isn't willing to let Dean get away birthday-free like everyone else (ie: Sam and Cas) does. Dean nods. He goes to one knee, then the next, kneeling in front of Castiel. Digging a pocket knife out of his front jeans pocket, Dean opens it up and flips it around handle-first, holding it out at the same time that he tilts his head for ear to meet shoulder, his neck bared.
Castiel’s mind suddenly goes very blank, with a ringing in his ears.
“Well?” Dean asks, his voice only slightly shaking. “You waitin’ for a written invitation?”
