“Thank you, that was kind of you.” Jon says, reaching for his mug and glancing at the plate. “Oh, sorry, I didn’t order any food.”
“Oh, right. Tim insisted.”
“Of course he did.” Jon chuckles quietly, adjusting his glasses and running a hand awkwardly through his slightly outgrown hair. “Well, thank you, ah…” he stops as he realises he doesn’t actually know the name of the barista he’s seen every morning for months. 'He had to have told me at some point…right? He looks like a ‘Sam’, maybe?'
“Martin,” he chuckles. “My name is Martin.”
“Martin.” Jon repeats softly. “Thank you, Martin.” he smiles.

When a neighbor upset at the noise knocks to tell the group to keep it down, Martin learns his new boss is also his new neighbor.
